ABSTRACT:
A hydrotreating catalyst comprising nickel, molybdenum, and phosphorus active components supported on gamma alumina is prepared with gamma alumina support articles partially hydrated with water vapor while the support particles are in motion relative to each other, as by passage of steam through an ebulliating bed of particulate gamma alumina.
