A derivative of rapamycin where one, two, or three of the double bonds at the 1-,3-, or 5-positions of rapamycin have been reduced to the corresponding alkane, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which by virtue of its antifungal activity is useful in treating fungal infections. ##STR1##
