ABSTRACT:
A reversible liquid solid phase change composition comprising hydrated CaCl.sub.2, and one of the group of BaI.sub.2, BaSO.sub.4, and/or BaO, added to the composition in an effective amount to suppress supercooling of the CaCl.sub.2 liquid phase.
