A new and distinct cultivar ofHydrangeaplant named ‘Wim Rutten’, characterized by its upright, outwardly spreading and mounded plant habit; strong and vigorous growth habit; relatively large leaves; freely flowering habit; and large lacecap-type inflorescences with light violet blue-colored fertile flowers and white-colored sterile flowers.
