A new and distinct cultivar ofHydrangea macrophylla(Thunb.) named ‘Fantasy’ originated as a controlled cross. The cultivar ‘Fantasy’ can be blue or pink depending on the acidity of the soil and is desirable for its compact and sturdy growth habit. ‘Fantasy’ has large showy inflorescences, having both sepalous and non-sepalous florets.
