ABSTRACT:
Bottom panels of a wet well structure of a vessel are shaped to enclose the ingle strut of a smaller vessel of hybrid hydrofoil design such that the pod and foils of the hybrid hydrofoil protrude from between the bottom panels. Inflatable seals allow the wet well to be drained and the smaller vessel supported within the wet well by solid or inflatable blocks to secure the smaller vessel and for repair, reprovisioning and the like. The motive power system of the smaller vessel can also be used to provide auxiliary power for the larger vessel.
