ABSTRACT:
A humeral prosthesis including a shank having a metaphyseal part having a housing therein with a semi-spherical portion in which housing is introduced a sphere to which is secured a bearing surface hemispherical cap adapted to be received within the glenoid cavity of a shoulder. A securing element is provided which extends through the metaphyseal part of the shank for securing the sphere within the housing at a predetermined position with respect to the shank.
