The present disclosure sets forth a telephonic equipment facility for field installation of equipment connected to telephone cables. It comprises a partially buried cabinet or container constructed of multi layered materials, defining a bottom having a sloping floor for draining water to a trough, upstanding sidewalls and a top or roof. In addition, above the bottom and protruding from one of the sidewalls, there is an extending cowling sized to define a door opening which is positioned above the support ground. At the opposite end of the structure, there is an appended cabinet portion having internally located frame members for support of cables extending through openings into the housing so that conductor pairs can be serviced.
