ABSTRACT:
A hot-melt type ink composition for use in an ink jetting printing apparatus, which is in a solid phase at room temperature, and is to be liquefied by heating at an elevated temperature above the room temperature so as to effect printing. The ink composition of the invention contains a wax having a melting point in a range of 50.degree. C. to 150.degree. C., a resin, a dye and at least one amide.
