ABSTRACT:
A hood assembly100for a vehicle104is disclosed. The hood assembly includes a hood102coupled to the vehicle and movable between an open position and a closed position. The hood assembly also includes a locking assembly106. The locking assembly has a locked position for selectively locking the hood in the open position and a release position for permitting the hood to move from the open position to the closed position. The hood assembly further includes a release assembly110coupled to the locking assembly for actuating the locking assembly between the locked position and the release position, wherein the release assembly is actuatable by a user105standing in front of the hood.
