ABSTRACT:
A hollow rectangular boom formed with four corner sections of identical cross section and plates interconnecting the corner sections is disclosed herein. Each of the corner sections is identical and is generally L-shaped in cross section with first and second legs each having a recess with adjacent pairs of corner sections being interconnected by flat plates received into the respective recesses and welded therein.
