ABSTRACT:
N-(.beta.-aminoethyl)-3-hydroxy-1,1,6,6-tetramethyl-piperidine and certain of its N- and O-substituted derivatives are useful as light stabilizers for polymeric materials, particularly for thermoplastic polymers and automotive finishes. Preferred compounds include the N-, O-diacyl derivatives.
