ABSTRACT:
A highly heat resistant, austenitic, iron-nickel-chromium alloy which is resistant to neutron induced swelling and to corrosion by liquid sodium, containing 8.0% to 15.0% by weight, chromium and 14.5% to 25.5%, by weight, nickel. When nickel is present in an amount of 14.0% to 21.0% by weight, the percent by weight of chromium present is less than or equal to 0.66.times.(the percentage of nickel)+1.6%.
