ABSTRACT:
A process of preparing a branched (co)polycarbonate resin is disclosed. The process entails using at least one compound conforming to formulae 1a or 1bin whichR1, R2and R3independently denote linear or branched C1-C10-alkyl, R4and R5independently denote hydrogen or linear or branched C1-C10-alkyl, p1and p2independently of one another denote a whole number between 3 and 10, as a branching agent.
