ABSTRACT:
A high voltage pulse generator for generating at least 500 kilowatts power over a time interval of substantially two nanoseconds with short risetime, using a high voltage avalanche source, a plurality of biased triode amplifier tubes and circuits and a voltage step-down transformer between any two consecutive tube stages.
