ABSTRACT:
Set retarded cement compositions and methods of using the compositions for cementing zones in wells at temperatures in the range of from about 200.degree. F. to about 450.degree. F. are provided. The compositions are basically comprised of hydraulic cement, water and a set retarding polymer containing repeating units having the formula ##STR1##
