ABSTRACT:
A process for the inhibition of corrosion caused by naphthenic acid and sulfur compounds during the elevated temperature processing of crude oil by use of an aryl containing phosphite compound having one of the structures: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are C.sub.6 to C.sub.12 and at least one R group is an aryl radical.
