ABSTRACT:
A high-Tc oxide superconductor including Bi, Sr, Ca, Cu, O and at least one of Pb and Al, with a high critical temperature than that of liquid nitrogen. A method for producing the high-Tx oxide superconductor is also disclosed, in which Bi.sub.2 O.sub.3, SrCO.sub.3, CaCO.sub.3, CuO and PbO or Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 powders are mixed, calcined, ground, cold-pressed and sintered. The calcined mixture may be melted and annealed to obtain a tape-form superconductor.
