ABSTRACT:
The invention provides high purity branched phenylsilsesquioxane containing fluids of the general formula Me.sub.3 SiO--(Me.sub.3 SiOPhSiO).sub.x --SiMe.sub.3, wherein Me is methyl, Ph is phenyl, and x is 1 to 6, and an essentially zero waste process for their synthesis in quantitative yield.
