ABSTRACT:
Tetraphenyl siloxanes having the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.4 can be hydrogen or lower alkyl, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 can be hydrogen, phenyl or lower alkyl and n is 0 or 1, when added to methyl alkyl siloxane lubricants for high-density information discs, improve the playback performance of the discs.
