ABSTRACT:
Monoazo compounds having a heterocyclic diazo component and an alkyl-3-(phenylamino)butyrate are useful as dyes for synthetic fibers such as cellulose acetate, cellulose triacetate, Nylon and especially polyester. The dyes of this invention have excellent fastness and dyeing properties by either heat fixation or exhaust, boil or pressure, methods of application.
