ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to herbicides and herbicidal compounds based on 2-Dibenzofuranyloxyalkanecarboxylic acids and their functional derivatives having the formula: ##STR1## wherein: X, Y and W are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6) alkyl, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6) alkoxy, nitro, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4) haloalkyl, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)-alkoxy-(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)-alkyl;
