Herbicidal sulfonamides such as 2-[[[4-(methylamino)-6-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl]aminocar bonyl]aminosulfonyl]benzoic acid, methyl ester are useful as herbicides and plant growth regulants.
