ABSTRACT:
A herbicidal composition is described, which contains as active ingredients, (a) N-(7-fluoro-3,4-dihydro-3-oxo-4-prop-2-ynyl-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-6-yl)cyclohe x-1-ene-1,2-dicarboxamide (i.e, flumioxazin) and (b) 4'-fluoro-N-isopropyl-2-(5-trifluoromethyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yloxy)acetan ilide (i.e, fluthiamide). The herbicidal composition is useful for effective control of a wide variety of weeds in upland fields, particularly in corn fields and in soybean fields. Also described are a weeding method with the above herbicidal composition; and use as a herbicide, of a mixture of the above active ingredients.
