Sulfonylureas derived from acetylenic pyrimidines and triazines, useful as pre- and postemergence herbicides. Typical of this group is 2-[[(4-ethynyl-6-methylpyrimidine-2-yl)aminocarbonyl]-aminosulfonyl]-benzo ic acid, methyl ester.
