ABSTRACT:
Aryltriazolinones of the formula ##STR1## in which W is oxygen or sulfur, X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 are independently selected from halogen, haloalkyl, and alkyl, and R, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are selected from various radicals are disclosed as herbicides. Herbicidal efficacy and preparation of the compounds are described and exemplified.
