ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a herbal mixture extract ofRehmanniae RadixPreparata andAcanthopanacis Cortexand a composition comprising the same for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. The herbal mixture extract of the present invention enhances the expression of osteoprotegerin (OPG) in osteoblasts and effectively inhibits the generation and activation of osteoclasts, so that it can be effectively used for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.
