ABSTRACT:
In a cooling roller which cools a molten resin strip discharged from a die, a temperature of a place where a resin comes into contact with the cooling roller, and that of a place where the resin is detached from the cooling roller are individually controlled. The cooling roller comprises: a non-rotatably disposed inner cylinder11; a rotatable outer cylinder3disposed coaxially with the inner cylinder11; an annular medium channel13formed by an outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder11and an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder3; a plurality of small medium channels73, 75divided from the medium channel13by a plurality of partition members69, 71; a plurality of medium inflow ports77, 79disposed in a wall portion of the inner cylinder along an axis of the inner cylinder11so as to communicate with the respective small medium channels73, 75; and a plurality of slit-like medium outflow ports81, 83.
