ABSTRACT:
A heat sink for dissipating heat generated by an integrated circuit package includes a flat base10,two vertical U-shaped heat pipes20and a heat dissipation body. The heat dissipation body includes a pair of side plates40and a plurality of fins50sandwiched between the side plates40.Each heat pipe20has a horizontal heat absorbing portion22attached to the base10,and two heat dissipation portions24extending perpendicularly from opposite ends of the heat absorbing portion22and through the side plates40.
