ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is a heat-sensitive transfer recording material comprising a support and a heat-sensitive layer thereon, wherein said layer contains at least a compound represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## (wherein R.sup.1 represents hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a --CO-R.sup.4 -- (where R.sup.4 represents an alkylene group) which has carbonyl carbon to nitrogen atom and also is bonded at one end to the benzene nucleus substituted with R.sup.2 to form a ring; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each represent hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, an alkenyl group, an aralkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a cyano group, an acylamino group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, a sulfonylamino group, a ureido group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, a sulfonyl group, an acyl group, an amino group; R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may be also the same or different from each other; m and n represent integers of 1 to 3; and X represents a hydroxyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted amino group).
