ABSTRACT:
A heat-sensitive transfer material comprising a support having thereon a coloring material layer comprising at least one dye represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a cyano group or a carbamoyl group; R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group; R.sub.3 represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; and R.sub.4 and R.sub.5, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.
