ABSTRACT:
Heat-sensitive recording or copying materials which contain, in their color reactant system, as developers for the color-forming agent, at least mono- or poly-aldehyde which is electronegatively substituted, especially by halogen, and/or the reaction products thereof with an organic compound containing hydroxyl groups, or the precursors thereof.
