ABSTRACT:
A heat-sensitive recording material which comprises in its color reactant system, as developer for the color former, at least one aluminum or zinc salt of a phenolsulfonyl compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, benzyl, or phenyl which is substituted by halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, nitro or methylenedioxy, and
