ABSTRACT:
The heat-sensitive recording material of the present invention comprises a heat-sensitive recording layer containing at least one resorcylic anilide derivative represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkyl or alkoxy, group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl or alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
