ABSTRACT:
A heat-sensitive recording material is disclosed, comprising a support having thereon a subbing layer made of a pigment and a binder as main components and a heat-sensitive color forming layer comprising a color former, a color developer and a heat-fusible substance, which is positioned over the subbing layer, wherein the subbing layer contains an aryl ester derivative or aryl carbonate derivative, having a melting point of 75.degree. C. or above.
The heat-sensitive recording material is excellent in dot reproducibility.
