ABSTRACT:
A heat-sensitive record material having a thick base support consisting of at least two base sheets and at least one binder layer, said base support weighing at least 150 g/m.sup.2 and having an excellent dimensional stability without accompaniment of any cockles and any background fogginess. It is particularly suitable for use in providing tags, tickets, cards, price marks etc. A process for the production of said heat-sensitive record material by the use of a binder consisting essentially of at least one thermoplastic polymer for which the vicat softening temperature is 20.degree. C. to 180.degree. C. and preferably 30.degree. C. to 160.degree. C.
