ABSTRACT:
A fixing apparatus according to the invention is provided with a heating roller1. The heating roller1includes an elastic layer1bformed around a shaft member1a, a conductive layer1eformed outside the elastic layer1b, and at least one impedance-adjusting layer1dinterposed between the elastic layer1band the conductive layer1e. The conductive layer1eincludes conductive paste containing metal particles.
