ABSTRACT:
A heat exchanger1comprises a heat exchange core4composed of heat exchange tubes12in groups13in the form of two rows arranged in parallel in the direction of flow of air through the exchanger, a refrigerant inlet header5disposed on the upper-end side of the tubes12and having one row of heat exchange tubes12joined thereto and a refrigerant outlet header6disposed in the rear of the inlet header5on the upper-end side of the tubes12and having the other row of heat exchange tubes12joined thereto. A cap19for closing an opening of the inlet header5at one end thereof is provided with a refrigerant inlet37. The cap19has a lower edge defining the inlet37and provided with a guide40upwardly slanting inwardly of the inlet header5.
