ABSTRACT:
Fixed to the peripheral wall of a header2of a unit-type heat exchanger1is a receiver connecting block6having channels31, 32for causing the interior of the header2to communicate with the interior of a liquid receiver7therethrough. The block6and the liquid receiver7have respective fixing portions32, 36and respective contact faces22a,36aeach provided on the fixing portion. The outer peripheral surfaces of the fixing portions22, 36have respective contours of the same shape and the same size. The liquid receiver7is fixed to the block6with the contact faces22a,36aof the fixing portions22, 36in intimate contact with each other. A tubular seal member42having rubber elasticity is liquid-tightly fitted around the fixing portions22, 36. The seal member42has an inner shape smaller than the contours of the outer peripheral surfaces of the fixing portions22, 36and is fitted as elastically deformed around the fixing portions22, 36. Rainwater or the like can be prevented from ingressing into an interstice between the contact faces of the block and the liquid receiver.
