ABSTRACT:
A process for forming an image which comprises heating a light-sensitive material containing a light-sensitive silver halide and a dye releasing redox compound capable of releasing a hydrophilic dye upon reaction with the light-sensitive silver halide by heating, in a substantially water-free condition in the presence of a compound having at least one group represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are as defined hereinbefore, is disclosed.
