ABSTRACT:
A heat-developable photosensitive material of which thermal fogging is markedly suppressed without detriment to image characteristics such as sensitivity, which is prepared by forming a single layer or multiple layers of a heat-developable photosensitive element comprising at least (a) an oxidation-reduction image-forming component comprising a long-chain fatty acid silver salt and a reducing agent, (b) a photosensitive silver halide or/and a photosensitive slilver halide-forming component, (c) a binder, and (d) at least one member selected from the compounds represented by the following general formula:
