ABSTRACT:
A heat-developable light-sensitive material comprising a support having provided thereon a light-sensitive layer comprising a silver halide which is spectrally sensitized with at least one dye represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.0 and R.sub.1, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a halogen atom, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an acylamino group, an acyl group, a cyano group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a carboxyl group, or an acyloxy group; provided that at least one of R.sub.0 and R.sub.1 represents a group other than a hydrogen atom; R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group; R.sub.3 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an acyl group, an acyloxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, or an acylamino group; provided that when R.sub.3 represents an aryl group, R.sub.0 and R.sub.1 each represents a group other than an aryl group; the group represented by R.sub.3 has a value of S of 544 or less wherein S is represented by formula (Z):
