ABSTRACT:
This device comprises a packet of corrugated plates (3) each disposed in a generally vertical plane, the corrugations being oblique and descending in opposite directions from one plate to the following plate. Each corrugation valley (5) having a lower end opening out laterally includes an projecting obstacle (7) in the vicinity of this lower end.
Application in air distillation columns.
