ABSTRACT:
Improved steps and methods for rapid, efficient and accurate assay of the CPK isozyme MB (cardiac fraction) and other determinations using chromatographic column technique. The improvements are especially adapted for carrying out rapid diagnostic tests in clinics and hospitals. Also contemplated improved apparatus and methods and uses of same adapted for the test method, such apparatus having novel features which can be packaged and merchandised in kit form. Other special features include use of electrophoresis either with or without the conventional chromatographic column analyses and using a selected colored (preferred-green) marker dye. Another special feature is that the used columns of the improved design can be conveniently recycled using the same solutions.
