ABSTRACT:
A headstock for a universal milling and drilling machine. The headstock includes a horizontal spindle within the headstock housing. A swivel head to which a vertical milling head is mounted is rotatably mounted at a 45.degree. angle on the headstock and is lockable in position by a locking mechanism.
