ABSTRACT:
A hay-making machine has at least one rake member rotatable about an upwardly directed axis of rotation and comprising tines, which are outwardly pivotable by centrifugal forces exerted during rotation of the rake member.
The tines convert from a working position and a transport position or conversely solely by centrifugal force and their own weight without the need for using spring means. According to the invention the tines are pivotable into a transport position only by means of their dead weight.
