ABSTRACT:
A hard ferrite powder with the composition BaO.6Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3 composed of particles in the size range from about 1 to 10 microns and being easily separated into primary grains (monocrystal domains) which contain at least about 85% of primary grains with hexagonal lattice structures and sizes equal to or less than 0.5 micron.
