ABSTRACT:
The present invention concerns a fishing rod for fly fishing, comprising an oblong, thin and elastic body, equipped with a reel for a fishing line, seated on the rod at the lower part of this, along with a gripping device consisting of a fore handle and/or a butt handle fastened to the fishing rod on the lower end of the rod on a level below the reel. The handle is fastened on an angular lever in relation to the longitudinal axis of the rod, since the handle is situated on the extension of an imagined line, which stretches between the upper tip of the rod and the spin axis of the reel. The gripping device may furthermore comprise a fore handle, fastened to the fishing rod at the rear end of the rod, preferably in the area where a reel seat is fastened to the rod. The handle is configured in such a manner that it allows the thin and elastic body to move relative to the handle.
