ABSTRACT:
A hand tool for aiding in the detachment of one member from another member includes a pair of lever arms pivotally mounted to each other and carrying handles at one end, and bifurcated, Y-shaped prying elements at the other end such that pressing the handles together moves the prying elements apart. A spring normally urges the handles apart and thereby the prying elements together.
