ABSTRACT:
In a hand-guided electrical tool3with a housing2that has a receiving collar20embodied on it and with a guard hood1that can be attached to the receiving collar20and has a clamping strap16, which can move freely around the receiving collar20in a first position and rests snugly against the receiving collar20in a second position, a secure connection between the guard hood1and the housing2is achieved by virtue of the fact that the receiving collar20has at least one protrusion21, which protrudes beyond the second area in the radial direction away from the spindle axle5, and between the protrusion21and the housing2, there is a distance h, which approximately corresponds to the width b of the clamping strap16, and by virtue of the fact that that the clamping strap16has at least one indentation12so that the first diameter d1of the opening10of the clamping strap16in the vicinity of the indentation12is greater than the second diameter d2in the remaining region, wherein the first diameter d1is of such a size that the clamping strap16can be moved over the protrusion21and the second diameter d2is of such a size that the clamping strap16cannot be moved over the protrusion21.
